Five favourite childhood books off the top of my head:

1) The Monster at the End of This Book by Jon Stone

2) The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Graham

3) A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett

4) The Hobbit by J R R Tolkien

5) The Dark is Rising Sequence by Susan Cooper

Thanks so much for playing along. I love reading everyone's lists. The Monster at the End of This Book would probably be on my list too, and I love seeing other people name it. Way to go on all of your reading so far, and for still having the energy at hour 17 (is it?) to be posting challenge entries. Enjoy the rest of the read-a-thon!
